A view on the Hérault

Being 658 meters high at its highest, the Pic Saint Loup is the first of many foothills before the Cevennes, which allows you to have a view on the entire Herault when arrived to its top.
Reachable on foot, it will take you approximatively one hour to get to this natural lookout, which is to be seen from Montpellier and from the Mediterranean.
At its highest point, you will make the most of a 360 degree view on the Cevennes, the Mediterranean coast, the hinterland’s plains of the Hérault district, to the Canigou et to the Mont Ventoux, depending on the weather conditions.

A land of vineyards and nature 

The Pic Saint Loup’s territory is caracterized by landscapes made of garrigue, by a mediterranean climate and by hectares of vineyards.
Pic Saint Loup’s Destination is kown for its wines of international renown. It has got the famous label « AOC » since 2016, and it has been certified « Vignobles et découvertes » in 2019. Therefore, numerous vineyards open their doors, so you are able to discover the viticulture and oenology of this exceptional terroir.

Pic Saint Loup’s territory is made of 36 villages, including some marvelous medieval ones, which offer numerous activities.
The visit of Saint Martin de Londres with its Romanesque church, as well as La Maison des Consuls in Les Matelles, is not to be missed.
Discover the reliefs and landscapes while travelling accross the multitude of walks and hiking trails throught the Mediterranean garrigue.
