The traditional market

Every Friday morning, Ganges turns into a gigantic market where all the local producers gather to present their stalls : Coteaux du Languedoc (PDO wine), Pélardon of the Cévennes (goat’s cheese), Sweet onions of the Cévennes, different types of honey, Pérails (sheep’s cheese), chestnuts, olives, reinette apples, fruits, vegetables… All the different savours of the region are gathered so you can make your choices between them.

Stride along the Plan de l’Ormeau, the covered market, the Avenue Jeu de Ballon, or the Frédéric Mistral Street to the Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul Church, making your way through the merchants that welcome you from 7h30 am to 2 pm during summer and from 8 pm to 1 pm in winter.
