LES VIGNERONS DE LA GRAVETTE

LES VIGNERONS DE LA GRAVETTE

Backing onto the Pic-St-Loup, Corconne's vineyards bathe in the golden light of the South of France. Founded in 1939, La Gravette wine cooperative now comprises a hundred or so winegrowers tending vineyards covering approximately 500 ha in five communes (Corconne, Vacquières, Brouzet-les-Quissac, Sauteyrargues and Saint-Martin-de-Londres). Corconne is also a village with olive-growing traditions. 3,500 olive trees are planted, and since 2005 they have been producing an intense, fruity oil, a characteristic of the Picholine variety. This La Gravette olive oil is presented at the olive festival in December every year. For many years, our winegrowers have all shared the same approach: to introduce and become proficient in using the most efficient technologies, whilst perpetuating the purest tradition in terms of expertise and respect of the environment.
