CHAPELLE SAINT-JEAN DE LAROQUE

Come and explore the fortified chapel, located at the heart of the medieval village of Laroque-Aynier.
Restored in 2005, the chapel was built at the beginning of the Romanesque art period. The part of the chapel which is located inside the castle is an aileless church that still has its original altar (XIIe s), and the sacristy is a tower that was built in the XIIIth century for military defense purposes.
